K-Pak was a completely self-funded product that was conceived, designed, engineered, manufactured, and sold by Mighty Ventures, a sister company to Mighty Studios. Up until the time of conception, there hadn’t been an integrated flash unit on the market for the GoPro Hero 3 and 4 cameras.

INSIGHT

Mighty Studios created K-Pak as a much-needed solution to the GoPro’s poor low light performance. Users either had to rely on clunky, separate mounts that interfere with ease of use or had to settle for lesser quality pictures in low light and underwater scenarios. K-Pak addressed these problems with a compact, versatile GoPro case that features advanced low-light capability, water-resistant housing (up to 10m), and Bluetooth connectivity with its own companion app, which allows for custom flash settings and more. Mighty Studios developed the brand identity, companion app (for both iOS and Android), product packaging, and e-commerce website.
